This section  is in charge of English teaching and testing for graduate  students of non-English majors at Yunnan Normal University. It has  three associate professors, three lecturers, and an international expert. Apart  from the teaching of such compulsory courses as Reading, Listening & Speaking and Writing & Translation, it offers optional  courses such as English Thesis Writing,  American Culture and International Academic  Communication to graduate students and organizes a series of qualification  and grade tests for graduate students each year.
